Panchkula, December 8, 2019: The 18th Satluj Open Tennis Championship concluded at Satluj Public School, Sector 4, Panchkula. Satluj students excelled in Boys Under 12 category and in Girls Under 14 and 17 categories.

More than 65 students from various schools and clubs of Panchkula participated in the championship.

“The Satluj Championship is a platform for Panchkula tennis players, after which players go to play in AITA and international tournaments,” said KritSerai, Director Principal, Satluj Public School, Sector 4.

Championship Final Results –
Under 12 Girls: Sana Gupta of Hansraj Public School, Panchkula defeated Aakanksha of St. Soldier School 3-0. In the Under 14 and 17 girls, Vashita of Satluj  Public School defeated Namita of Satluj Public School 3-0.

In the Under 10 Boys, Harsh of Sky World School defeated Karunya of Satluj Public School 3–1.

In the Under 12 Boys Deepansh of Satluj Public School defeated Jaskirat of St. Stephen 4–2.

In the Under 14 Boys, Jashandeep of DC Model School defeated Karan Pratap Singh of Hansraj Public School by a huge margin of 4-0 while in the Under 17 Boys Shashank Singh of Gymkhana Club defeated Karan of Satluj Public School by 6 – 4 in the championship. Won.
