Mega Quiz on Current Affairs

The SST Deparment Of Satluj Public School, Sector 4, organised a Mega Quiz which focused on “current affairs” to launch the largest knowledge quiz contest – Satluj Wizard. The Quiz was divided into four interesting rounds, which tested the student’s knowledge of current affairs in a way that was not only enriching but also technologically advanced. The quiz was conducted for the middle wing on Microsoft Teams. Four different teams, namely Avengers, Black Panthers, Challengers and Dropping Bombers with four fervent participants in each team took part in a gruelling battle. The participants had to go through mazes of intuited and mind boggling rounds consisting of questions related to current affairs from different spheres. Challengers were declared as clear winners at the end of the quiz. It was an informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants and the huge audience, who were an integral part of this Mega virtual event. Reekrit Serai, Managing Director, Satluj Group of Schools said, “Congratulations to the winners—Team Challengers (Ronita—Class 5, Mohd Arsh Khan—Class 6, Aryavrat—Class 7, Tanishka—Class 8). Learning and knowledge sharing can never stop, not even in times of a pandemic. The show must go on. This Quiz was really interesting and our Satlujians took a keen interest. Apart from enabling knowledge sharing, this competition helped them to build  team spirit and a competitive environment. Looking forward to more such competitions and activities.”
