GANIT WEEK CELEBRATIONS

 REPORT

 GANIT (Growing Aptitude in Numerical Innovations and Training) Week was celebrated in Satluj Public School, Panchkula (Haryana) from 16th December to 22nd December 2015. Under the guidelines from CBSE, various activities were conducted over the week in the different classes.

 

The activities were suggestive and encouraged the students to learn Mathematics with a new found interest. Children solved the Sudoku Puzzles and solved the Rubik’s Cube and created Magic Squares. Quiz Competition was organized in all the classes based on the level of Mathematics taught therein. Students also took a great deal of interest in Interactive sessions based on Pascal’s Triangles and Vedic Mathematics. They also prepared Innovative Projects on Mathematics.

 

The week long celebrations were much appreciated by the students who felt that Mathematics is  far more interesting than they thought and it includes more than just classroom teaching.
