About Satluj

Satluj Public School is an independent, co-educational English medium institute of a rich reputation located within Panchkula, Haryana, which is adjacent to Chandigarh.

Starting with a handful of students in a rented accomodation in 1976, Satluj, has since then, grown from its humble beginnings to an educational powerhouse with more than 3,500 students currently studying in the school.

The school is run by “Satluj Educational Society”, which a registered entity, and with eminent personalities & NRIs on its governing body.

The founder and director is a visionary educationist, Shri. Pritam Singh Serai, who has taught in various schools and colleges in India, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA), and has an experience of over 60 years in education.

The present Principal, Shri. Krit Serai, is an eminent educationist with teaching experience of over 25 years in the UK, the USA and Indian education. He is a national award-winning education leader, having won the prestigious CBSE national award in 2011, and recognition awards for his contribution to education and social development by the Haryana Government and various media house.  He is one of the leaders at the forefront of educational technology and student holistic development within the region.

The school was established on 12th January, 1976, and since then, has been imparting high-quality education to its students. With a rich tradition of nearly 40 years, Satluj has a strong alumni association, SESA, with members to the tune of over 25,000.

The school has a regular exchange programme with educational institutions in the United Kingdom, the US, Canada and other countries.

The school is located in two purpose built campuses for primary & senior secondary classes in sectors 2 and 4, Panchkula, respectively, in an area of 12 acres.

To add to the institution’s exhaustive list of awards and recognition, Satluj has been recently ranked as one of the top schools in Haryana, including the tri-cities region of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, by Digital Learning Magazine, and the HT C-Fore Educational Survey  respectively. In addition to this, Satluj was ranked “Best School in the region” is a survey by FSCE, 50 Future Top schools, 50 Top Cambridge centres.
