The middle wing at Satluj is dedicated to innovation. Students are given the freedom to be creative and find their own voice. We encourage students to be innovative and be curious. The students are acquainted with a lesson with the ‘learning by doing’ method. Hands-on practice is essential. Through various learning methodologies and beyond the classroom activities, learning is made fun and attractive here. Student-centred leaning builds the crux of the academic programme. Here, we allow the students to discover themselves, build their personality and confidence. We prepare them for all trials they are about to face in life.
Classes V to VIII – Subjects : English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, General Science, Social Sciences, Hindi, Punjabi or Sanskrit, Art & Craft, Music, French, Health & Physical Education, Computer Science, Value Education, Environmental Studies.
Please Note :
French language has been introduced for Classes V to VIII to enable pupils to compete internationally in a second foreign language. The subject will be given a grade with basic knowledge content.
Pre-Nursery to VIII text books are based on project themes modelled on UK-American creativity enhancing method rather than memorisation. The syllabus is according to CBSE/NCERT.
In Geography and History we arrange field trips to give a practical insight.
All subjects have internal assessments which comprise upto 20%.
XI/XII have practicals in most of the subjects varying from 30-70%.
